What We do With Your Information

INFORMATION COLLECTED
Auradon Solutions collects, stores, and uses personally identifiable information in compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), the Professional Background Screening Association (PBSA) standards, and applicable state and federal law.

When you register for an account, request services, or otherwise engage with our website, we may collect the following (“Registration and Contact Information”):

  • Your name, email address, postal address, and password
  • Transaction-related information
  • Payment method information if you purchase products or services
  • User-generated content and other information you provide

When you request a pre-employment background check, we may also collect candidate data including, but not limited to: name, email address, Social Security Number, address, and date of birth. This information is used exclusively to complete the requested screening.

We may also collect non-identifying technical data (“Usage Information”), such as IP addresses, browser type, device identifiers, and clickstream activity, to enhance security and prevent fraud.

COLLECTION METHODS

  • Cookies: Used to improve site navigation and store login information. Persistent cookies may track user interests; session cookies expire when you close your browser. You can disable cookies in your browser, but this may impact site functionality.
  • Analytics/Log Files: Automatically gathered information used for site administration, error tracking, and trend analysis.
  • Web Beacons: Embedded electronic files that track engagement with pages or emails.
  • Local Shared Objects/Flash Cookies: Used to personalize content and store settings.

PAYMENT INFORMATION
Payment data is processed by a PCI DSS–compliant third-party provider. Auradon Solutions does not store raw credit card data.

SHARING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
Auradon does not sell personal information. We disclose personal information only as permitted under the FCRA and applicable law:

  • With Consent: When you authorize a third-party integration or disclosure.
  • Service Providers: Vendors supporting functions such as payment processing or customer service. These providers are restricted to use the data solely for providing contracted services.
  • Advertising: We may display targeted advertising; however, advertisers do not receive your personal information.
  • Legal Compliance: Information may be disclosed if required by law, subpoena, or regulatory authority, or to protect safety, prevent fraud, or defend Auradon’s property rights.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale, your data may transfer, subject to the commitments of this policy.
  • Aggregated Data: Non-personally identifiable or anonymized data may be shared for analytical purposes.

PERSONAL INFORMATION DISCLOSURE: UNITED STATES OR OVERSEAS
Auradon does not transfer personal information outside of the United States or its territories during the preparation or processing of consumer reports.

SECURITY OF YOUR INFORMATION
We use commercially reasonable measures to protect data, including SSL encryption for sensitive transactions, access controls, and auditing. However, no system can be guaranteed secure. Users should be aware of risks inherent to Internet transmissions.

FRAUD PREVENTION
Auradon and its vendors use fraud detection methods, including device fingerprinting, IP monitoring, and anomaly detection. Where fraud is suspected, we may share relevant information with processors or law enforcement in compliance with the FCRA and applicable law.

DATA RETENTION
Auradon retains information as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide services, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. All personal data is stored and processed within the United States. Data is destroyed in accordance with the FCRA’s disposal rule and PBSA best practices when no longer required.

OPT-OUT AND COMMUNICATION PREFERENCES
We may contact you about Auradon services, updates, or account-related issues. You may opt out of promotional communications by following unsubscribe instructions or contacting us directly. Transactional and legally required notices will continue regardless of opt-out.

SOCIAL MEDIA WIDGETS

CALIFORNIA COMPLIANCE

  • Do Not Track: Auradon does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. Data collected by fraud prevention partners is used only for fraud detection and not marketing.
  • Information-Sharing Disclosure: We do not share your personal information with third parties for direct marketing purposes without your explicit consent.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
Auradon is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If such data is discovered, it will be deleted promptly.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
Auradon may modify this policy at any time. If changes are material, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice on our site before the changes take effect. We encourage you to periodically review this page.
